President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the staff and veterans of OJSC "BMZ - Management Company of the Holding "BMK" on the 40th anniversary of the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Head of State.

"It was in your furnaces that the first metal was smelted, marking the beginning of the history of domestic metallurgy," the congratulatory message reads. "Initially planned as a mini-plant, BMZ grew and developed along with the country, preserved its unique team in the 1990s with state support, and today it is an industrial giant, a flagship of the industry, and one of the most recognizable brands of Belarus."

The foundation of these production achievements of BMZ is the experience and highest competencies of several generations of metallurgists, the Head of State noted. "You are mastering new technologies and modern equipment, expanding the range of manufactured products, finding sales markets, and bringing billions of dollars in export earnings to the republic," the Belarusian leader pointed out.

The President addressed special words of gratitude to the veterans: "Having come from different parts of the Soviet Union, you became a united, cohesive team that managed to establish production and lay down excellent traditions in the shortest possible time."

"I am convinced that thanks to your professionalism and skill, all set tasks will continue to be successfully accomplished for the dynamic development of the industry and the economic growth of our country," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.

The Head of State wished the staff and veterans of BMZ good health, happiness, well-being, and new work achievements.
