President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the staff of the Vitebsk State Technological University on the 60th anniversary of its founding. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Over these years, the university has become one of the centres of education and science in the country, successfully addressing the challenges of developing the domestic light industry," the congratulatory message reads. "While remaining true to the best teaching traditions, the institution actively implements innovative approaches, its modern educational and practical base contributes to the professional development of every student, postgraduate student and doctoral candidate, and the formation of true masters of their craft."

Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the university staff will continue to be an example in training and educating qualified specialists, and the university's contribution to strengthening the Belarusian state will only increase.

The President wished the faculty, staff, and students good health, success, and new achievements in their educational and scientific activities.
