President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the staff of the Vitebsk Order of the Badge of Honour State Academy of Veterinary Medicine on the 95th anniversary of the educational institution. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"The higher education institution has come a long and glorious way from an institute to the largest academic complex in Belarus for training qualified personnel in the field of veterinary medicine and zootechnics, and has launched the careers of more than 35,000 top-class specialists," the congratulatory message reads.

The professorial and teaching staff of the academy has made a significant contribution to the development of domestic science. "Authoritative scientific schools have been formed at the institution, successfully working on solving current problems of agro-industrial production. Their innovative developments meet global standards, contribute to the effective development of the livestock industry and ensure the export of agricultural products," the President emphasized. "I am convinced that the use of the latest methodologies, vast pedagogical experience, and creative potential will allow your team to continue achieving high results."

Alexander Lukashenko wished all students, teachers, and staff of the academy good health, happiness, and successful implementation of their plans.
