President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the personnel and veterans of the honour guard company of the commandant battalion of the Minsk military commandant's office on a significant date - the 30th anniversary of its formation. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"In the shortest possible time after its creation, the honour guard company became an elite unit of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, service in which is particularly honourable, but at the same time responsible," the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State noted that the company is now a constant participant in all official ceremonies, state and significant socio-political events. The unit's parade ground concerts during the Victory Day and Belarus Independence Day parades have become traditional, and are warmly received and supported by spectators. Thanks to its participation in various international events, the unique team is well-known far beyond the country's borders and serves as a calling card for Belarus and its Armed Forces.

"I am convinced that you will continue to be our pride, an example of diligence, patriotism, devotion to military duty and oath," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.

The President wished the personnel and veterans of the honour guard company good health, happiness, well-being, and new successes in service for the benefit of their native Belarus.
