President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo on his birthday. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"You have dedicated a significant part of your life to serving the people. This important mission primarily signifies responsibility for the country's independence and sovereignty, creating prospects for its development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of its citizens," the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State noted that through the personal efforts of Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Equatorial Guinea is gradually developing into an industrial state, meeting its food needs, and improving the standards of healthcare and education. The country is now attractive not only for its African landscapes – the functionality of its cities and towns is also changing for the better.

Alexander Lukashenko recalled with satisfaction the negotiations with the President of Equatorial Guinea in Minsk and his visit to Malabo, during which the leaders laid a solid foundation for the development of a comprehensive dialogue between the two countries and demonstrated solidarity on international agenda issues.

"I confirm my readiness to meet with you at a convenient time to discuss the progress of implementing the roadmap for bilateral cooperation and to identify new promising areas for joint work," the President emphasised.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo good health, happiness, and success.
