President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping on the Spring Festival. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"The past year has been marked by significant achievements of the People's Republic of China, which remains a benchmark and an example to follow," the congratulation reads. "Before our eyes, following the 3rd Plenum of the 20th CPC Central Committee, China's responsible foreign policy, which is in tune with modern challenges and reflects its global role in the world, has received new development. At the same time, the unchanging principles of your country remain respect for independence, territorial integrity, observance of the rights of other states, and non-interference in their internal affairs."
Alexander Lukashenko expressed gratitude to Xi Jinping for his personal and tireless attention to relations with Belarus.
"As you noted in your New Year's greeting to the Chinese people, 'in the new journey of Chinese modernization, everyone plays an irreplaceable role, and every contribution is extremely important.' Our country was, is, and will be a reliable partner of the People's Republic of China in achieving all set goals. Without a doubt, in 2025, we will continue to steadily and systematically strengthen our all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership, and our friendship will be a benchmark for the whole world," the Belarusian leader emphasized.
