President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is proposing projects to Vietnam for the production of machinery. He announced this during negotiations with Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"At one time, during my visit to Vietnam, I very persistently proposed to the former leaders to establish joint ventures in Vietnam for the production of Belarusian machinery. And further – trade in the APEC market," said the head of state.
"We can start with assembly. Why not cooperate in this regard? It is beneficial for you, it is beneficial for us, and it is beneficial for the countries to which we will later sell this machinery. And Vietnam has a great need, especially for agricultural and freight machinery," added the Belarusian leader.
