The Head of State noted the dynamic development of Turkey and its active role at the global and regional levels. "I am confident that Turkey will approach its centenary anniversary in 2023 with new grand achievements in all the directions you have outlined," the congratulatory message reads.

Alexander Lukashenko pointed out that Minsk attaches particular importance to relations with Ankara, based on traditions of friendship and mutual trust. "For Turkey, as for Belarus, sovereignty and independence are inviolable priorities of state structure. In modern realities, it is important to join forces to effectively counter the unprecedented challenges of our time," the Belarusian leader emphasized.

The President expressed his conviction that bilateral cooperation will be strengthened year by year and augmented with new accomplishments for the benefit of the peoples of both countries, including through the implementation of agreements reached in Ankara in April 2019 during the official visit of the Belarusian Head of State to Turkey.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Recep Tayyip Erdoğan good health and further success in his responsible activities, and the people of Turkey – peace and prosperity.
