The Head of State, Aleksandr Lukashenko, signed a decree on the provision of grants from the President of Belarus for 2021. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Presidential grants have been awarded to 73 employees of organisations in science, education, healthcare, and culture. Funds have been allocated for research and development in the fields of physical and mathematical, technical, medical, biological, chemical, agricultural, and economic sciences. They will also be directed towards the development and application of modern methodologies and educational materials to improve the quality of education for pupils and students, and the development of new diagnostic and preventive methods and medical technologies, as well as patient treatment and rehabilitation.
The allocated grants will be used, among other things, for the creation of new works of art, the organisation of cultural and entertainment events, and the implementation of innovative projects aimed at developing Belarusian culture and preserving national spiritual traditions.
