A meeting with President of Russia Vladimir Putin will take place in Saint Petersburg today, during which the heads of state will discuss the development of cooperation in various fields and international issues.
As noted by the press service of the head of the Belarusian state, this visit continues the established practice of regular personal meetings between the leaders to discuss current issues.
The Telegram channel "Pool of the First" clarifies that Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin agreed on today's meeting back on July 1 during a telephone conversation.
Board number one has already departed from Bolbasovo airfield. This is an international cargo airfield located in the multimodal industrial and logistics complex "Bremeno-Orsha" in the urban-type settlement of Bolbasovo, 18 kilometers from Orsha. The OJSC "Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant" is also located there, which Alexander Lukashenko visited a month ago.
The airfield's runway has been granted international status. Now it can receive and dispatch direct cargo flights, as well as civilian aircraft. The airfield is intended to become a major cargo hub.
