Heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the Honorary Chairman of the EAEU, the first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, presidents of observer states to the EAEU - Cuba and Uzbekistan, and Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board Mikhail Myasnikovich have been invited to participate in the summit.
The agenda of the meeting includes over 20 issues. The heads of state of the union will be informed about the implementation of the EAEU decisions of December 11, 2020 - on the strategic directions for the development of Eurasian economic integration until 2025 and the progress of negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Members of the Supreme Council will consider the main directions of the Eurasian Economic Union's international activities for 2022, and the provision on the status of an observer state to the EAEU. The agenda also includes issues of implementing liberalization plans for certain sectors of services in the union, ensuring the functioning of a unified services market in the construction sector, common approaches to the conditions for carrying out valuation activities within the framework of this market's functioning, as well as a protocol on amendments to the EAEU Treaty, the so-called II Big Protocol, and three agreements - on the application of navigation seals in the EAEU for tracking shipments, on the implementation of audit activities within the EAEU, and an agreement on the specifics of applying security for the fulfillment of obligations to pay customs duties, taxes, special, anti-dumping, and countervailing duties when transporting goods under the customs procedure of customs transit.
