President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko received a report from the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, Natalya Kochanova, on August 16, BELTA correspondent reports.
The President outlined three groups of issues. They concern the situation in the capital, as Natalya Kochanova is also the President's authorized representative for the city of Minsk. The second group of issues concerns how the new team has started working in the Council of the Republic. The third concerns international contacts through the Council of the Republic.
"Natalya Ivanovna, first of all - Minsk. You, as the authorized person for Minsk, will report the situation to me. Especially on those issues that we agreed upon with you. And especially on economic ones - enterprises. Motovelo plant - how is the situation there? Regarding the sale of certain buildings, premises... You understand what is being discussed. And how has the new team of the upper house of parliament started working? Your international contacts and other issues that you deem necessary to discuss," said the Belarusian leader.
