In the field of science and technology, the prize has been awarded for the development and implementation of organ transplantation technologies for children and adults to employees of the 9th City Clinical Hospital and the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre "Cardiology" Oleg Rummo, Yuri Ostrovsky, Alexander Dzyadzko, Oleg Kalachik, Alexey Shcherba, Andrey Valentyukevich.
For the development and organisation of industrial production of export-oriented microelectronic products for dual and special purposes based on the creation of modern design methods, semiconductor technologies and high-precision analytical and assembly equipment, the prizes have been awarded to employees of OJSC "Integral" Vitaly Solodukha, Sergey Chizhik and Sergey Shvedov, OJSC "Planar" - Valery Zaitsev and Gennady Kovalchuk, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus - Sergey Grabchikov.
In the field of literature, art and architecture, the prize has been awarded to a team of employees of the National Academic Grand Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus, represented by Oksana Volkova, Anastasia Moskvina, Stanislav Trifonov, Sergey Frankovsky, Nina Lomanovich, Alexander Kostyuchenko, for significant creative achievements in the development of musical art, the promotion of spiritual values, and a significant personal contribution to the production of the opera "Sedaya Legenda" (Grey Legend) by Dmitry Smolsky, based on the work of Vladimir Korotkevich.
For significant achievements in the field of theatrical and musical art, the creation of music for the ballet "Mephisto", the musicals "Stakan Vody" (A Glass of Water), "Julia", "Sofya Golshanskaya", "Baiker", composer Vladimir Kondrusevich has also been awarded the prize.
The aforementioned works reflect the most important and best achievements of our country in the fields of science and technology, art and culture. They have been recognised by the Belarusian and international community, and are characterised by novelty, economic efficiency or social significance.
