President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko continues his regional working trip on agricultural topics. The Head of State is visiting OJSC "Agrokombinat "Yubileiny" in the Orsha district of the Vitebsk region, BELTA reports.

The Head of State will be informed about the progress of agricultural work, fodder procurement, and preparation of equipment for the harvesting campaign in Belarus, the Vitebsk region, and the Orsha district.

At the agro-combine, the President will visit the "Kupalinka" dairy farm complex, familiarise himself with its operation and the progress of fodder procurement at the agro-combine.

The main activities of the enterprise include pig and cattle breeding, production and sale of pork and beef for food purposes, production and sale of milk, and crop production.

Currently, the farm has 11.7 thousand hectares of agricultural land. The gross output growth rate for the enterprise as a whole in 2021 was 109.9%, including 115.7% in livestock farming and 99.3% in crop farming. The gross output growth rate for January-May 2022 was 114.6%.

The "Kupalinka" dairy farm complex was commissioned in July 2020. The complex is filled to 93.8% capacity. From January to May 2022, the complex produced 8.4 thousand tonnes of milk, with a yield of almost 4.2 thousand kg per cow. Milk is sold exclusively as "extra" grade.
