President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks in Minsk on April 11 with Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif, who will be on an official visit to Belarus. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Head of State.
The meeting of the two leaders will take place at the Palace of Independence in both narrow and expanded formats with the participation of delegation members. Alexander Lukashenko and Shahbaz Sharif will discuss the progress of implementing the agreements reached during the official visit of the Belarusian Head of State to Pakistan in November 2024. The focus will be on the further development of trade and economic cooperation, including in the fields of industry and ensuring food security, and strengthening humanitarian ties.
The parties will pay special attention to key issues on the global and regional agenda, and the interaction of the two states on international platforms.
Following the talks, a number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed.
