During an official visit to Pakistan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Armed Forces (Commander of the Pakistan Army) General Asim Munir, BELTA correspondent reports.
The meeting was held behind closed doors.
The day before, the Head of State held talks with Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad.
The parties focused on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, with an emphasis on practical steps to develop trade and economic interaction. Alexander Lukashenko and Shehbaz Sharif considered the most promising areas of cooperation and discussed a joint action plan.
