President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is orienting new heads of the local power vertical towards a sensitive attitude towards people and demands that priority be given to economic development issues. He stated this while making personnel decisions, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

"Regarding people, we have lived through 2020. I often return to this issue. It was a good lesson for us. You were all present in various positions. Now you are heads of your districts and regions. Do not forget these lessons. Do not think that everything has calmed down. God grant that we get through this period of our lives quietly and peacefully. This is our task. We will get through it if the economy works," said the Belarusian leader.

"As I often say, please, give me the economy, so that people are provided for as much as necessary. So that enterprises work, jobs exist. Everything else is on me. This is your task. And be very sensitive and attentive to people," added Alexander Lukashenko.
