President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko inspected the progress of the harvesting campaign in the country from a helicopter on August 4, BELTA reports.
The previous two days, Alexander Lukashenko was on a working trip to the Gomel region. The focus of the presidential inspection was on eliminating the consequences of the natural disaster in the region, the harvesting campaign, and laying the groundwork for a new harvest – preparing fields and sowing winter crops.
On Sunday, the head of state studied the situation from above, when everything was in plain sight. Alexander Lukashenko inspected the northwestern part of the Gomel region and the southern districts of the capital region. From the helicopter, the President assessed the progress of the harvesting campaign, the condition of reclaimed lands, and the work of the "Slavkaliy" enterprise.
