President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko inspected the progress of the harvesting campaign in the country on Sunday, July 30, BELTA reports.

The head of state spent his Sunday in a helicopter. From above, the President assessed the harvest in Minsk, Grodno, and Brest regions.

On Thursday, while receiving a report from Vice-Premier Leonid Zayats, Alexander Lukashenko promised that the upcoming week would be dedicated to agriculture. Moreover, the head of state will spend it in the west of Belarus.

"In the near future, I will try to be (in the regions. - BELTA note). I plan to see the west. This is exactly your area of responsibility - Grodno region. We will see, possibly, Brest region. A whole range of work for the Ministry of Agriculture," the President said.
