President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the employees and veterans of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism on the 30th anniversary of its establishment. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Strengthening the health of the people, the development of elite sports and mass physical culture movement are priority areas of state policy, the implementation of which is the primary task of the ministry," the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State noted that the established system for training athletes allows Belarusian athletes to achieve brilliant victories in major international tournaments and Olympic Games. "These achievements are the pride of the nation and a testament to the strength of spirit of Belarusians," the President emphasized.
Alexander Lukashenko addressed special words of gratitude to the veterans – all those who have worked tirelessly and continue to work for the glory of Belarusian sports, preserving and multiplying its victorious traditions.
The Head of State wished the employees and veterans of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism health, peace, and new achievements for the prosperity of the Motherland.
