President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko notes the positive performance of the country's healthcare system. He stated this today while receiving a report from the Minister of Health Vladimir Karanik, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"What concerns me most is the main issue – the manageability of the system. Manageability always reveals itself and serves as a litmus test in extraordinary circumstances," said the head of state. "The healthcare system is working well, and the doctors are doing a great job."
At the same time, Alexander Lukashenko acknowledged that there are certain shortcomings. "We will discuss them. If there are minor ones, they are purely subjective. This means it is within our power to avoid them. But they are, roughly speaking, not fatal. They do not significantly affect the functioning of the healthcare system," the Belarusian leader is confident.
In general, he inquired about the extent to which Vladimir Karanik has managed to "get a grip on" the sector he currently leads.
