President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has convened the local executive branch for a meeting on pressing issues of the socio-political situation, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"I believe that such short, but very important meetings should become our tradition. This is not only about informing people who have come from the regions, but also about a certain spirit that should unite the power vertical," said Alexander Lukashenko. "Our meeting is dictated by the need to synchronise, to determine the further strategy of work in new conditions for us. Primarily economic ones."
According to the President, while Belarus has learned to live with the pandemic, which plunged the entire world population into shock a year and a half ago, the country is only beginning to adapt to another sanctions bacchanalia. "And we know well from our own experience that any restrictions are a chance to unlock internal reserves. Certain steps have already been taken," stressed the head of state.
