Lukashenko approved the appointment of rectors for three higher education institutions

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has approved the appointment of new rectors at three higher education institutions in the country, BELTA correspondent reports.

Alexander Bakhanovich, who until now served as Rector of Brest State Technical University, will be promoted – the President has approved his candidacy for the position of First Deputy Minister of Education. Sergey Kasperovich, formerly Head of the Main Department of Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education, will take over as Rector of this university.

Alexey Chukanov, who headed the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Studies, will lead the Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University.

Valentin Peshko, First Vice-Rector of Grodno State Agrarian University, will advance his career and take up the position of Rector by the President's decision.
