Social support for military personnel and the security forces will be strengthened from 2023. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, at the ceremony honouring graduates of military higher education institutions and senior officers, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

"The policy of our state, aimed at supporting uniformed personnel and modernising the Armed Forces – the main guarantor of Belarus's sovereignty and independence – has been and remains unchanged. I must tell you that this policy, in terms of social protection for our military personnel and security forces in general, will be strengthened starting next year," emphasised Alexander Lukashenko.
