"We intend to build equitable, mutually beneficial, and respectful relations with all countries of the world," stressed the head of the Belarusian state. "Good neighbourliness and mutual assistance are of particular value to us. Therefore, we are striving today for a peaceful settlement of the crisis in our fraternal Ukraine and in other hotspots on the planet."
Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarus will continue its active work to counteract common global problems, primarily within the framework of international organisations. According to him, such organisations have vast experience and capabilities.
The President emphasised that Belarus can offer the international community its experience, albeit limited, in solving a number of problems. For example, in areas such as overcoming the consequences of the Chernobyl NPP accident or eradicating human trafficking.
"Belarus will always support any efforts and initiatives to strengthen international law. This is a crucial priority of our foreign policy," stressed the head of the Belarusian state.
However, in the opinion of the President of Belarus, international law alone is critically insufficient to ensure peace and security on the planet. "It is necessary to create decent living conditions for every individual at the national level. I am deeply convinced that only a strong state can adequately cope with this task," he said.
