A country is rich when it has intelligent, hardworking people. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, at the award ceremony for graduates and teachers of higher education institutions, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
After presenting the Presidential commendations, Alexander Lukashenko addressed the graduates and teachers again: "I thank you once again for all that you have done at this stage of your lives. Our teachers – for raising such a generation."
"When I look at our distinguished young men and women, I think: if everyone were like you, we would never have problems. And we would be rich. Because a country is rich when it has intelligent, hardworking people, not just what the Lord has put in the ground. Therefore, we have you – we have the future of the country," emphasized the Belarusian leader.
