President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has approved the State Investment Programme for 2022. The corresponding Decree No. 18 was signed by the Head of State on January 26, as reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Taking into account the investment capabilities of the republican budget, the programme provides for the concentration of funds on facilities commissioned in 2022 and on carry-over facilities with a high degree of construction readiness.

For the financing of the construction of 157 facilities included in the programme, Br695 million is envisaged for 2022, of which Br275 million is for production sector projects aimed at achieving a positive economic effect. In the current year, it is planned to commission 48 facilities.

In accordance with the programme, in 2022, it is planned to commence the financing of the construction (reconstruction) of 18 facilities, including a vaccine production plant in the village of Dolzha, Vitebsk region, wastewater treatment facilities of the Minsk Leather Production Association, and infrastructure of border crossing points on the state border.
