The Head of State, Aleksandr Lukashenko, signed an order approving the decision of the Council of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the Support of Talented Youth. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Over Br100 thousand will be allocated for these purposes from the republican budget, using funds from the reserve fund.
The grant awardees, who have been conferred the title of laureate of the Special Fund, are two winners of international music competitions – Amaliya Sukhan and Valeriya Bernatovich, who represented Belarus in vocal competitions at the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk".
Special awards have been granted to 25 winners of international and republican artistic and creative competitions, including the ensemble of the Department of Choreography of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, led by Svetlana Gutkovskaya, as well as the Honoured Amateur Collective of the Republic of Belarus, the folk choreographic ensemble "Sazhzhye".
The adoption of the Head of State's order is aimed at identifying and supporting talented youth, and creating favourable conditions for the further development of their abilities.
