President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, congratulated the people of Estonia on their Independence Day. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Today, when the world is facing many serious problems, it is important for nations to realize their place in the history of civilization and see the prospects for further development," the congratulatory message reads.
In this regard, Belarus has always been and remains a supporter of constructive cooperation between countries based on the principles of trust, partnership, and mutual respect for the better future of descendants, the head of state noted.
"I am confident that on the path to resuming economic and humanitarian contacts, based on the rich historical traditions of our states, we will overcome any difficulties and artificial obstacles, regardless of their origin - whether from external advisors or from some irresponsible politicians," the President emphasized.
Alexander Lukashenko wished the people of Estonia happiness, peace, and well-being.
