President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko sent congratulations to President of the Philippines Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and the people of this country on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the proclamation of the state's independence. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"During its sovereignty, the Philippines has achieved significant success in socio-economic development and has become an active participant in ASEAN," the congratulatory message reads.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the dialogue between Minsk and Manila has been based on friendship, mutual respect, and trust, the head of state noted.

"I am confident that we will maintain a positive trend in further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of industrial cooperation, mechanical engineering, electric transport, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, science and education, as well as in intensifying business partnerships," the President emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Ferdinand Marcos Jr. good health and success in his responsible political post, and the people of the Philippines - happiness and prosperity.
