President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is confident that the country will manage to establish a system of international payments against the backdrop of sanctions. The Head of State announced this today at a meeting with the management and operational staff of state security agencies, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

The Head of State announced this today at a meeting with the management and operational staff of state security agencies, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. 

"As I have said before, everything I talk about is a new reality in which we will have to work even after the operation in our native and beloved Ukraine is completed. Our economy, as before, will be tested by sanctions. But we can overcome them. We are overcoming them," the President stated. 

He noted that Belarus receives 90% of the necessary components for production from Russia. This same country is the main sales market for domestic products. 

"We need to sort out the payments. But we have enough intelligence – our specialists in the National Bank and the government – to solve this problem. We are solving it," said Alexander Lukashenko.
