President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President of Greece Katerina Sakellaropoulou and the people of that country on their national holiday – Independence Day. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The Head of State noted that the peoples of the two countries have a rich centuries-old history and cultural heritage, and common spiritual values, which create a solid foundation for building constructive interstate relations.
"I am confident in the need to intensify the bilateral dialogue at all levels. I believe that the relations between our countries will develop on the principles of friendship, mutual respect, as well as the aspiration to jointly support and expand security and confidence-building measures on the European continent," the President emphasised.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Katerina Sakellaropoulou good health and well-being, and the people of Greece – peace and prosperity.
