Belarus is satisfied with the outcomes of the recent visit by Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong, who is concluding his diplomatic mission in the country, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"We paid very serious attention to the visit of your Prime Minister to Belarus, Li Qiang. We are satisfied with this visit. We are currently working extensively within the government on developing relations regarding the issues and problems that were identified during the visit of the Premier of the State Council of China," said the head of state.
Alexander Lukashenko specifically noted that the Premier of the State Council of China highly praised the development of the "Great Stone" park, to which the Belarusian side also attaches paramount importance. The number of park residents is constantly growing, which indicates a significant interest from Chinese manufacturers and beyond.
The President also thanked the Chinese side for the technical assistance provided. "With the efforts of the People's Republic of China, we are completing the construction of two social facilities that will contribute to the health of our population and will be prestigious. These are a swimming pool and a stadium, which I very much hope we will largely complete this year," he said.
