President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko intends to hold a series of meetings in the near future on the most pressing issues of the country's development. He stated this on November 5 at a meeting in the Mogilev region, according to a BELTA correspondent.

In particular, the government's report and the review of the socio-economic development forecast and budget for the next year will take place soon.

The Governor of the Grodno region will also report on the situation in the region in the near future. "I must first of all draw a conclusion for myself about how correct the choice was," said the head of state.

In addition, a meeting dedicated to the issues of the agricultural sector will be held on the basis of the Vitebsk region. Alexander Lukashenko recalled that a special working group was created to address the problems in this area. "I was promised that as a result of these decisions, agriculture would develop by leaps and bounds. I deliberately took a pause to see how justified and honest the group's statements would be," said the President. "The year has ended, it's not a bad year, and at its end, we will probably gather again and see how talented our team in agriculture is, how accurately they have grasped the negative trends and whether they have correctly proposed decisions on individual issues."

Another area that the President intends to pay attention to is housing and communal services. "The group has worked through these issues, and now I am waiting to see how the identified shortcomings are being eliminated. We will talk about this in winter," the head of state noted.

Alexander Lukashenko also explained the reason for the unexpected meeting with the leadership of the Mogilev region held on November 5. According to Alexander Lukashenko, any meeting between the President and leaders is always beneficial and provides an opportunity to discuss problems in the region face-to-face.

The Head of State noted that recently he has been trying to form new leadership кадры in the country. "In a year's time, we will have to report to the Belarusian people together with you. Those who observe personnel appointments could not fail to notice that new faces have appeared in the leadership, and this process will not end tomorrow," the President said. "There is a practice: before the presidential elections, the people must clearly see the team with which they will work after these elections."
