President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will be briefed on the operations of OJSC "Minsk Mechanical Plant named after S.I. Vavilov - Managing Company of the Holding Company "BelOMO", as reported by BelTA.
The Head of State will be informed about the financial and economic condition of the holding company, its developments, and production development prospects.
The President is primarily interested in the export-oriented project for the creation of a braking drive for automobiles and pneumatic devices. The innovative products are intended to meet the needs of the domestic and Russian automotive industries.
The Belarusian Optical and Mechanical Association (since 2011 - the holding company "BelOMO") is a recognized leader in optoelectronic instrument engineering. The history of the "BelOMO" holding company dates back to 1957 with the establishment of the Minsk Mechanical Plant named after S.I. Vavilov.
Currently, it is a universal multi-profile association specializing in the development, design, and production of laser, optoelectronic, and optomechanical devices and systems. In addition to optical products, the enterprise manufactures components for braking systems of heavy-duty vehicles, domestic gas meters (including those with a thermal compensator, pulse output, ultrasonic, and with a wireless data transmission channel), infrared emitters (heaters) for general and local space heating, consumer goods (electric dryers, electric juicers, electric juicer-shredders), and much more.
The enterprise's production capacities allow for the successful production of competitive products for both domestic and foreign markets. The innovative products of the "BelOMO" holding company are exported to more than 30 countries.
