This is stated in a congratulatory message from the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, to the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on the occasion of his victory in the presidential elections, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Earlier, on November 21, the leaders of the countries held a telephone conversation, during which the President of Belarus personally congratulated his colleague on his election victory.

The official congratulatory telegram on this occasion emphasizes that the re-election of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is a clear confirmation of nationwide support for the strategic course towards implementing effective reforms aimed at modernising the country and strengthening its international authority. "I highly value the trusting relationship established between us, which allows us to openly discuss any, even the most complex issues. I want to assure you that Belarus will continue to be a close friend and reliable partner of Kazakhstan, committed to firm support in the current challenging situation," the congratulation reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko confirmed his readiness to receive the President of Kazakhstan in Belarus on an official visit, which will allow for an objective assessment of the state of bilateral cooperation, as well as accelerate the implementation of previously reached agreements.

The President wished his colleague good health and new successes in carrying out large-scale transformations for the benefit of the people of Kazakhstan.
