"Throughout its centuries-long history, your country has repeatedly been subjected to crude external pressure. You, better than anyone, know that only through mutual respect and trust, with mutual support in the international arena, can our states protect their sovereignty and respond to modern challenges to move forward confidently," the congratulatory message reads.
The President emphasised that Belarusians have always, even in the most difficult moments, helped the fraternal Serbian people, with whom they share common spiritual and cultural values."I believe that the Republic of Serbia will remain a reliable partner of Belarus in the Balkans," the head of state noted. "Minsk counts on strengthening friendly relations with Belgrade, deepening bilateral contacts and expanding cooperation at all levels and in all areas of mutual interest."
Alexander Lukashenko wished Aleksandar Vučić and the Serbian people good health, fruitful activities, and success.
