"Speaking about the economic situation, it should be noted that it is complex. Ill-considered actions of certain governments, primarily Western ones, have caused tangible damage to the world economy. Using the example of Belarus and Russia, you have seen how traditional sales markets for national goods and critical imports can close overnight, established forms of interstate settlements, sources of investment, and much more can become inaccessible," the Belarusian leader noted.

"But we have everything to maximally reduce our dependence on global shocks and unfriendly steps by aggressively-minded states. We just need to skillfully use these opportunities," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.
