A field seminar-meeting with the participation of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, will be held on June 17 in the Minsk region, reports BELTA.

The event will take place at one of the dairy farms of the "Ostrositsky Gorodok" branch of OJSC "Agrokombinat "Dzerzhinsky".

The Head of State and the seminar participants will be informed about the production activities of OJSC "Agrokombinat "Dzerzhinsky" and the advanced experience in the construction of dairy farms using the MTK "Selishche-2" as an example. The discussion will focus on a comprehensive approach to improving cattle survival rates and ensuring their productivity growth.

Participants of the event will familiarize themselves with the conditions for keeping dairy cattle at the MTK, the technology of feeding and milking cattle, and modern methods of applying liquid organic fertilizers.

Among the participants of the seminar-meeting are chairmen of regional executive committees and their first deputies, authorized representatives of the Head of State in the regions, and assistants to the President - inspectors for the regions.

An event in a similar format of a field seminar on agricultural topics with the participation of the Head of State was also held in February of this year. It was organized in the Smolevichi district of the Minsk region at the agricultural enterprise "Shipyany-ASK". At that time, various practical aspects of feeding and keeping cattle during the winter stall period, preparation of main types of agricultural machinery for spring field work, new crop varieties and their cultivation regulations were discussed.
