July 14, Vitebsk /BELTA/. Young Belarusian performer Elisey Kasich has won the Grand Prix of the юбилейного XX International Children's Music Competition "Vitebsk", BELTA correspondent reports.

Elisey Kasich received the award from the hands of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the opening ceremony of the XXXI International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk".

On July 13, the Belarusian performer opened the children's music competition of the cornflower festival with his performance. Elisey Kasich presented the composition "Nebа pazhar" by Valeriy Shmat to the audience and jury. The young artist received the maximum number of points - 70.

On the second day of the vocal competition, he also scored maximum points, performing Celine Dion's song "I Surrender", and thus confidently took the lead. The representative of Russia, Yulia Gavrilova, was one point behind the Belarusian.
