"As for relations with our native Serbia, I think there are practically no problems," said the head of state. "I say sincerely that, thanks in part to your aspirations and such assertiveness, we have good relations. Because, I remember, I met with both the former President (of Serbia. - BELTA note) and the current one - you always pushed both me and your President. Although I am not a stranger President to you either."
"No. I can say - mine," replied Dragomir Karić.
"I agree. Therefore, the initiative has always come from you. And I am very glad that you have landed in Belarus, found your place, and are working. You are very well known in Belarus. It seems to me that the most famous construction company is yours. Even our companies are less known. It is well-publicized, promoted, and builds with high quality," said the Belarusian leader.
He noted that he had always admired Yugoslav builders. "And you have managed to raise that quality to a higher level. Both comfort, and quality, and responsibility - all this is present in your work. But sometimes you don't meet the deadlines, right?" the head of state remarked.
"We are ahead of schedule," Dragomir Karić immediately assured.
"On individual projects (issues with deadlines. - BELTA note)," clarified Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev.
"Therefore, we are glad that we have such a company that works effectively. Well, regarding more specific issues and the company, we met today precisely to talk about them," Alexander Lukashenko continued.
