Lukashenko to hear report from Government and National Bank on Belarus's economy performance in 2014 and plans for 2015

Today, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, will hear a report from the government, the National Bank, regional executive committees, and the Minsk City Executive Committee on the economy's performance for the elapsed period of 2014, an assessment of the year's results, and draft forecasts, budget, and monetary policy for 2015. It is planned that the Head of State will be informed, in particular, about the development of the real sector of the Belarusian economy, ways to overcome negative trends, and proposals for ensuring the balanced development of Belarus in 2015. The focus will also be on the execution of the republican and local budgets in 2014, tax policy, and the formation of the republican budget for 2015. Furthermore, the President will be briefed on the implementation of the Main Directions of Monetary Policy of Belarus for 2014 and the corresponding draft for 2015.
