One of the topics of the working trip of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Smolevichi district of Minsk region was agricultural work. This was reported by the Chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Turchin, BELTA correspondent reports.
Mass harvesting in the region will be completed within a week. A yield of 2.1 million tons of grain, including rapeseed, is expected. Another approximately 600 thousand tons of corn are also anticipated.
The Head of State also inquired about the progress of construction and reconstruction of livestock complexes. This work in Minsk region is expected to be completed within three years.
