March 7, Minsk /Corr. BELTA/. A woman, with her wisdom and inner strength, is the foundation upon which the world rests. This is stated in the congratulatory message of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, addressed to his compatriots on the occasion of Women's Day, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Our dear and beloved mothers, grandmothers, sisters, wives, daughters, and colleagues! At this wonderful time of the arrival of the long-awaited spring, on behalf of all Belarusian men, I want to congratulate you on Women's Day," the message reads. "The source of life, the beginning of all beginnings, a Woman, with her wisdom and inner strength, is the foundation upon which the world rests. You inspire us to feats and discoveries, you know how to make us happy with a glance and stop hostility with a word, you give humanity immortality embodied in children. It is not for nothing that the most cherished words for everyone - Earth, Motherland, Belarus - are feminine.
"Today, you are one of the main driving forces of the country's successful socio-economic development, the maintenance of political stability in society, and scientific and cultural progress. Your knowledge, talent, and great diligence yield brilliant results in various fields. And at the same time, you do not lose your soulfulness, softness, and beauty, you remain good mothers, wives, and hostesses, faithful and reliable companions," the head of state noted.
Alexander Lukashenko also addressed words of admiration, gratitude, and reverence to women for what they do for their families and for the entire country. "May harmony and prosperity reign in your homes, may children's laughter never cease, and may beautiful earthly love flourish.
