In 2011, Lukomlskaya GRES saved 20.4 thousand tons of conventional fuel under the energy saving program and exceeded the annual target by almost 12%, the enterprise informed a BELTA correspondent. In 2011, the station ensured reliable, uninterrupted power supply to consumers, the readiness of the power plant equipment to bear the electric load, ensured accident-free and economical operation of the branch, and created safe working conditions. Lukomlskaya GRES generated 11.992 billion kWh of electricity, which is 89.8% of Vitebskenergo's generation and 40.4% of Belenergo's generation. The thermal energy output was 115.990 thousand Gcal. This figure is 15.9% lower than in 2010, which is due to the transition to a new nomenclature of economic needs from January 1, 2011, and a higher outdoor air temperature. The specific fuel consumption for thermal energy output last year was 168.14 kg/Gcal. Seven facilities with a total cost of Br62.968 billion were commissioned at the station. This year, the commissioning of 11 facilities with a total cost of Br57.7 billion is planned.
