A large-scale charity event continues to sweep across the country. Children in all corners of Belarus are receiving gifts and congratulations.

Another address of care and attention was the family-type house in Lepel, where Irina and Alexey Petukhov are raising 9 children.

The marathon of kindness today was joined by the head of the district, Mikhail Kiselevich, deputy chairperson of the district executive committee, Veronika Khombak, and deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Viktor Azaronok. Visiting guests also played the role of magicians today. A team from CJSC "Stolichnoe Television" arrived to surprise, delight, congratulate, and show kindness to the Petukhov family.

Ded Moroz and Snegurochka, cheerful round dances, warm hugs, New Year's games, and, of course, long-awaited gifts – the children will remember this day for a long time.

Speaking of gifts: to help the parents – a drying machine from the STV team, and for the children – a laptop from the district leadership. And, as tradition dictates – sweets from all the guests.

Mikhail Kiselevich, chairperson of the Lepel District Executive Committee: - Every year, the number of people involved in the event grows. All state bodies and organizations begin preparing for it long before December – the list of institutions and schools is already being worked out in September. Everyone wants to delight the children with something special. The scale of the event is now astounding. The task set by the President to reach literally every child is being fulfilled. And the joy we see on the children's faces, the happiness that the New Year represents for them, – commented the chairperson of the district executive committee, Mikhail Kiselevich.
