A good gift for the Lepel Sports School was made by its former student, Artem Evseev. As part of the youth national handball team, he achieved the title of Master of Sport at the European Championship qualifying competitions.
In Krasnodar, where the competitions took place from March 29 to 31, our athletes took first place.
Russia, France, and Macedonia competed for the gold. They lost only to the French – 25:28, but snatched victory from the Russians, who had beaten the French with the same score. The final stage of the European Championship will be held in Austria in the summer.
