Mother and child died in house fire in Vitebsk region

5 March, Minsk /BELTA/. A mother and child died in the Miory district of the Vitebsk region in a fire that broke out in a residential building. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by an official of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus. The tragedy occurred on the evening of March 4. The causes of the fire in the private residential house are currently being established by specialists. In total, over the past day, 19 fires occurred in Belarus, in which 7 people died. Over the past day, the Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued five people. For example, in Klimovichi, Mogilev region, they pulled the driver and a passenger out of a Volkswagen Golf car damaged due to a collision with a pole. And in Kalinkovichi, Gomel region, firefighters managed to save the owner of the house, born in 1943, and her son, born in 1974, from the burning building. -0-
