On 21.12.2021 at 14:12, the Central Operations Department of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations received a report that a person had fallen through the ice on Lake Prosha, at the end of Solovyova Street in Lepel.
On 21.12.2021 at 14:12, the Central Operations Department of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations received a report that a person had fallen through the ice on Lake Prosha, at the end of Solovyova Street in Lepel.
Upon arrival at the scene, the person was on the water surface approximately 30 m from the shore.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds: do not go out on thin, unfrozen ice. Do not gather in groups on individual sections of ice. Do not approach holes, cracks, or openings in the ice. A single person may only go out if the ice thickness reaches 7 cm, and a group of people – no less than 12 cm.
