"The project for the development of simulation equipment production has been discussed for a long time," said Valery Malashko. "We have proposed a partner to the Republic of Tatarstan that has proven itself in the production of medical equipment and has a good command of all the methods and technologies used in this specific production. In my opinion, this experience will yield good results."
According to the minister, simulation equipment allows for an increase in the practical orientation of training for doctors and mid-level medical personnel. Moreover, it will be useful for assessing the skills and competencies of practicing doctors and nurses.
The joint Belarusian-Tatarstan project will allow for raising the professional training and retraining of doctors in both Belarus and Tatarstan to a qualitatively new level, noted Adel Vafin. This is another step in the implementation of the most modern technologies in medical education.
It is expected that the first simulators will be produced in 2018. The products are competitive and will be in demand, including on the European market.
The Republic of Tatarstan is implementing modern approaches to doctor training and qualification enhancement using simulators in a number of the most relevant fields: endosurgery, traumatology, orthopaedics, etc.
